Great Wrap has a higher bulk density than traditional pallet wrap, making it stronger and more durable. This means you can use a thinner micron than usual while maintaining the same load containment. This is achievable by applying more tension to the film on your wrapping machine. 

We've transitioned to a yellow-tinted hand and machine pallet wrap to make it easier for the end receiver to differentiate between Great Wrap and traditional pallet wrap in their supply chain. 

The yellow additive in our wrap is made with natural plant fibers and it's 100% compostable. When a pallet is wrapped, it closely resembles traditional pallet wrap with a subtle yellow tint. The yellow colour becomes noticeable when you remove the wrap from the pallet, and when it's on the roll. 

The recommended pre-stretch of our Compostable Machine Pallet Wrap varies depending on the micron thickness you use, your machine, and the products you're wrapping. Our material can run up to a 250% pre-stretch.

To create higher load containment, you can adjust the tension on your machine. The tension setting will vary for everyone's needs based on what you're wrapping and the machine you're using. For heavier pallet loads, use a higher tension to increase the stability of the pallet.
